Cinder block pain stations. Do 12 reps of each of these with aid of cinder, kettle or medicine ball
First set
-Bent over hockey stick rows (one cinder at each end of hockey stick)
-Squats with shoulder press
-Alternating Mercans with one hand on cinder
-Side to side steps on cinder – 50
-Gun show curls (20lb kettles)
-Jerk and press with cinder (alternate sides)
-Upright row (25lb kettle)
-Mason twist with 12 lb medicine ball
Pax runs one lap around parking lot together
Second set
-Incline mercans – with hockey sticks between cinder
-Skull crushers
-Alternating Mercans with one hand on cinder
-Alternating kicks on cinders – 50
-Gun show curls (20lb kettles)
-Laying down Overhead raise with chest press
-Kettle swing (25lb kettle)
-Up and downs (12 lb medicine ball)
Pax runs one lap around parking lot together
Third set – same as the first
Fourth set -same as the second
Moleskine
-Some technical difficulties with the portable speaker. May just need a happy Father’s Day gift to me
-Triumphant return of OxyClean to MIL F3. The early spring membership drive that looked hopeless initially has continued to bear fruit
-Oxy has been a bit preoccupied with his full time job as a surrogate father. He is quite prolific
-Don’t break the hockey stick
-Turks & Caicos Island rivalry for vacationer preference is similar to the rivalry one between Bloods & Crips
-With boating season upon us, there just may be a water workout option in the future
-Gonna need a lot of water wings
-The “Take a Shot” to cure cancer fundraiser will be on Sunday May 27th from 6:30pm-9:30pm at Cobalt, or the Overlook Gazebo area near the boat launch. Registration will start at the gazebo/boat launch area at 6:30pm on Sunday May 27th where you can make a donation (any monetary amount will be accepted) to benefit brain cancer research. There will be a variety of stations set up with both adult and kid beverages available to sample. I have it on inside intel that some of the finest hand crafted ales in the 28216 area code will be on display for your sampling enjoyment. And also some hard cider for any of you other candy asses who may be allergic to hops. We will have sno-cones, a popcorn maker and music to round outr the experience. Come on out for a good time while supporting a great cause. Please remember that with this year’s walk, as in life, pacing is everything.
