Fast. Furious. F3 Daytona 500!

Usually F3 Daytona happens to fall in a big week for me with my F3 Anniversary, my birthday and of course…Daytona.  This year was a little different with it falling smack dab in the middle of the week all alone and nothing to compete against it.  Oh, well the fact that the #MadSci was non existent was a little problematic.  Was it a mistake with the F3 Lake Norman Calendar?  Where was the workout.  After a DM to who I though was the MQ Popcorn, I was informed that MadSci lost its chemistry.  Some alternative “solutions(s)” were proposed but F3 Daytona was meant to happen on the Wednesday before the true Daytona 500.  Some VooDoo, some concoctions of sort and a tweak on the calendar resurrected the one mighty Mad Scientist.  “It’s Alive!”

Rolled in about 520 after not sleeping.  After my fiasco a couple years back…6 alarms were set and yet I did not need any of them.  But the M’s went off and kept her up for the rest of the morning as well. She wanted to ensure I did not #fartsack accidentally…again.  Can you feel the love?!

Ran down to put up the days instructions…or the program if you will, up on the walls.  Planted the CML/OST shovel flag and in breaking tradition…rolled out the tunes.  Yes…Tradition has been broken!  For the first time YHC busted out some upbeat riffs and beats for the Pax to enjoy or loathe.  Historically Scrappy or Qbert brought their music.  Speaking of…where was Qbert?

All in all, 22 of us entered the race…

Goal is to complete all 500 reps…hence Daytona 500.
