Chalk Talk At Bedrock

9 gathered at Bailey Road Park for a chilly start to the 7am beatdown.  After a brief warm-a-rama on the football field, PAX gathered on the parking lot for chalk talk, a rotating circuit of various exercises which were timed based on one of the PAX running across the parking lot and back.  Exercises included jump rope, KB swings, merkins, incline merkins, air squats, SSH’s, LBC’s, and Planks.  From there, PAX headed down “K2”, the long incline just past the playground.  Partner up where partner 1 would perform LBC’s while Partner 2 ran up the incline to the second bench and back.  3 rounds were completed giving the PAX a healthy dosage of cardio work.

Mosey to the fence at the middle soccer field for a brief quad stretch and 3 rounds of calf raises.  PAX would perform 3 100 yard wind sprints on the soccer field and conclude with 5 minutes of MARY.

Truly a great morning of iron sharpening iron as there was plenty of encouragement and mumble chatter throughout.  YHC especially thankful for a surprise showing of Phoenix who hasn’t posted in quite a while.

I’m not convinced that Omega has officially retired from QvQ as there was a fire in his eye on Saturday which made it clear he was looking ahead to 2025 to reclaim his title.

Prayers offered up for Chilly’s colleague who has a 2 year old recently diagnosed with a serious illness.

Truly a special weekend as Christ followers celebrate the miracle of the resurrection and the hope it provides on Easter.

Thanks to each one of you who chose to join YHC and your F3 brothers on Saturday at Bedrock.

Humbly in Christ,

Possum
