Hoptown 5K

A handful of Isotopes most “seasoned” runners ventured north to Mooresville to participate in the yearly Hoptown 5K. The run supports local charities and is supported by our brothers of Race City.
Conditions were a little rainy and cold but the men of the Isotope showed their toughness and overall athletic abilities. Einstein pushed all of us as he paced a 7 minute mile and a top 10 finish. The rest pushed hard and we had 4 brothers on the podium at the end of the day.
The charity work started right as the race ended, for every beer purchased a certain amount of the proceeds went to charity. We all felt compelled to do our part and so we all did our fair share in contributing. Full Moon saw the way the day was going so he expertly went to Brooklyn Boys for a few well needed pizzas.
Great day spent with fellow brothers,  Stromboli is a true host and everyone enjoyed the charity work and fellowship.
Peace and humility,
