Little Rocks, Big Stones. . .

AO

Callahan and Greyhound appeared at the appointed time but decided to take Lindsey Buckingham’s advice to “Go Your Own Way” and headed off in the opposite direction, presumably for some injury-friendly exercise, but for all we know they just went to Dunkin’ Donuts.

The rest of us boogied around HT and over to the other side of the tracks, where we each found two rocks to be our new best friends for the next 35 minutes. There we discovered that high reps with weights in each hand can be just as entertaining as big rocks. In other words, it took some big stones to handle those little rocks.

Starting with Stone Straddle Hop, going deep with a lot of shoulder, arm, and leg exercises, and still somehow working in a mile of running, we finished up with Big Cheese (in his first 2024 appearance) leading his first exercise (quite competently, I might add), followed by all the rest of the boot campers leading a Mary. It’s the communist way to share labor according to our abilities, so that’s what our little gloom commune did.

Callahan and Greyhound joined us right on time for an old school hand-on-shoulder circle of trust and then hastened to DD for some fellowship until the swimmers took over and forced us all to leave.

Thanks for showing up, men! It’s always a pleasure to lead you in some of my nonsense. Now it’s your turn. I need some Q’s at Fission!
