Moonrise over The General

No FNGs.

The PAX witnessed a beautiful waning crescent moonrise and Rub’s re-start Q after a 3-year hiatus from Qing.

The Thang – Broken Boomerang

Start in parking lot next to where the shovel flag normally is with 1 exercise, then run to big rock at entrance to The General.  Add 1 exercise, then back to start, add another, etc.  Exercises where (all single count, OYO):

  2. 25 Mountain Climbers
  3. 25 Squats

After reaching 5, PAX moseyed to the best rock pile in the region for the following:

  2. 12 Overhead Presses IC
  3. 12 Skullcrushers IC
  4. 12 Chest Presses IC
  5. 12 WW2 Situps

Repeato.  Then, upon recommendation from Callahan, PAX finished the rock work with some star gazing, Airborne Mind Bender style.  That was fun, but we didn’t finish the boomerang.

Mosey back to the parking lot. Finish Boomerang in descending fashion, i.e. eliminate 1 exercise each lap.

Mary – 15 Low Flutters IC, 3 x homer to marge, 5 scorpion dry docks IC (L&R), calf and pigeon stretch (L&R).

Recover Recover.

Callahan took us out in prayer.  Prayed for Rich, Jeff, and Wafflehouse’s recovery.

Total mosey milage = 1 mile.

YHC heard the PAX saying this beatdown was like the horseshoe but 1) the shape of a boomerang is totally different and 2) there was way, way less running and 3) Eeyore wasn’t here for partner carry up the hill, so for these reasons it was totally different.  But then maybe YHC needs to horseshoe again very soon.

Thanks to all who showed and hope you enjoyed the workout.  Great to meet Lejeune, who didn’t look or workout like he had been gone for 10 years.  YHC appreciates being back in the gloom with you all in 2024 and the chance to lead The General.  Thanks, Deepdish, for the keys!
