We can’t thank everyone enough for supporting the 5th Annual Christina Latini Memorial 8K and 2 Mile Walk! As in the past, the clouds departed, and we had a beautiful race day! Also as in years past, we had a huge push the last week in participation and ended up with 343 runners and walkers, surpassing last year. We know there were other alternative races that day, maybe including adult beverages, so we are honored that you chose to support our race and mission.
As mentioned during the pre and post-race speech, seeing the community come together, to rally behind our family and to help honor our daughter has a tremendous impact on us. The community is our strength and support. During the most difficult times, we can’t breathe, can’t move, and sometimes feel helpless and discouraged.
Seeing everyone Saturday was the continued spark to validate our efforts and proof, we are making a difference in our community and beyond. You all help us turn our #PainIntoPurpose and for that, we truly feel blessed beyond measure.
An event like this takes a village, and we have so many people and organizations to thank!
We want to thank all runners, walkers, ruckers, volunteers, donors and virtual supporters who decided to spend a few hours with us this past Saturday morning. We truly hope you had a great time, and remember, it was #ForTheKids in our community…as well as us! God bless you all!
